The Tennis Zone Junior Tennis Academy
The Tennis Zone Academy aims to provide excellence in tennis coaching programming and a facility that, while supporting the local community, will enable players of all ages and abilities to fulfill their tennis potential.
At The Tennis Zone Academy, students can attend as little as 1 or as many as 6 small group classes per week, each two hours in length. Our 5 week sessions integrate the technical, tactical, mental and physical training needed to develop the students’ tennis capability.
Each student begins with a comprehensive evaluation of grips and game style, on-court movement, functional movement, strength, flexibility, overall athleticism and mental posture.
Every week the focus will be on a distinctive aspect of tennis such as groundstrokes, net play, and serving or concepts such as court movement, mental toughness, depth & consistency.
Students are grouped, by The Tennis Zone staff, based on ability and work on drills, points, and match play, all focused on the central theme for the week.
